    Central Pool and Spa is a lovely company to deal with! I've always been extremely satisfied when interacting with them. I also really love that they are a Island owned, family company. They do quality work and are super prompt with their services as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pool or hot tub, the craftsmanship definitely stands the test of time!

    I had already prepared the ground and pad in advance of their arrival. When they arrived they were satisfied with the ground work done by experts. All they had to do was put the quality pool together. Communication with the main person who is in charge of installing was a 2/5 as I felt they were avoiding having a conversation to set things up in a timely manner.

    I then had to spend a lot of time negotiating to be refunded regarding the full payment and then later, after the copious amount of my time documenting with 50 photo's of all the incorrect work Central Pool and Spa did by I stood firm to have payment refunded.

    problem. The pool had to be drained, pool dimensions had to be measured for proper alignment, things had to dug out and moved, screws not properly placed in the supporting structures, and the liner and insulation base and base supports had to be removed to adjust to the newly and proper alignment of the pool dimensions. The pool materials were in perfect condition so that was not the issue as to why it took a 1-2 day pool installation job over 4 days, and still incomplete by day 4, by Central Pool and Spa. In the end the pool was correctly installed and aligned by Richards Total Pool Service without having any issues with the pool product. BE AWARE that they will also ask that you pay them the full amount of installation before they start! Don't be fooled by this inappropriate request. If you do take a risk to hire Central Pool and Spa, pay only once they provide the service and you are fully satisfied with their work.

    Personally, I will never hire them again and I will never recommend them to any potential pool owner who is looking for a pool installer. If you do take the significant risk to hiring this company, make sure you get references before hiring these people. Ask for the last 10 clients that they did work for and follow up on what these clients had to say about them.

    I fired them after 4 days and they still were struggling to finish the job. A job that by pool installation standards, with a pre prepared ground work done before arrival, should of taken 1-2 days. During the process I felt frustrated with the lack of communication on what their plan was to keep the pool installation process moving forward. I felt a lack of peace of mind and reassurance as the days went on. Initially they spoke as if they knew what they were doing but after a few days their actions spoke louder than their words and it became clear that they were not aware of what they were doing. They looked confused about what do to next.

    I insisted that they call the manufacturer of the pool so that they would have a better understanding about why the pool installation, on day 3, was not going very well for them. Even after conversations with the manufacturer of the pool to help them, Central Pool and Spa still could not figure out how to solve their installation problem!!! This is all documented.

    I hired Central Pool and Spa in the Fall of 2016 to install an above ground pool here in Stanley Bridge after they reassured me that they were familiar with installing above ground pools and that they would be interested in installing the pool, knowing well that the quality pool was not ordered from their company.
